I am useing Wavosaur and I need some help Recording.

I see all of my Tabs at the top of the screen for Voume Setting and Record and Stop and I have my Impot and Output device set.

But when I hit Record and then Stop nothing got Recorded.

Is there a Tab to click for if you want to Record from a MIC or Line In or Stereo Mix and so on I did not see it.??
Thanks

Hello,

You can click on "monitor input withvu meter", this is the button next to the record button, and see if the vu meter is moving, if not you have to set the input in menu Options->Audio configuration and choose the right input (mic or line input or other)

Ok I did click on the Volum Metter and I see Bars moving up and down the Metter but I am not recording anything yet.

When I go into the Audio Configuration tab it has my Reltek HD Imput in the Imput List.

And all is working now so do I always have to have the Voume Metter Tab Pressed In?????

And one more thing when you go into File and then New a window comes up ware you set your recording Properties I gess for a new Project.

The first Check Box says Channle and it has a 1. in it
Sould this not be a 2 for Stereo or is this not what this is for??

The recording should work without the "monitoring with vu-meter"

You are right for the Files->New , "1" for the channels means a MONO file, this is the default settings, you can change it to 2 for STEREO, the settings are saved and remembered.

The recording is always stereo (we have not added the choice for channel yet)

I don't know how the realtek sound drivers are working, i think you have to open the mixer (provided by realtek, or the windows mixer) and select your input from here.

"host relay.verizon.net[206.46.232.11] refused to talk to me: etc..."

this email provider refuses the topic reply notification email.
