Hi all,

I was using Wavosaur.1.0.5.0(en) to record an AGM meeting for my organisation, but when I pressed the record button to stop it didn't produce the sound file, instead there is a 301MB .tmp file in the folder containing the application but I cannot save it as a .wav, so I copied it into another directory so it doesn't get deleted upon closing the program.

Is there any way I could use the .tmp file data to reconstruct the .wav file that should've been generated in the program?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

did you try just to rename it to .wav and open it in wavosaur?

if you did and it didn't work, try the import binary feature and set the options in the file open dialog to use the settings you used for your recording (e.g. 44100 hz, 16bits, 1 channel if mono).

hey Rex I've looked around the website and other related pages, but don't seem to be able to find this application you're talking about. Do you know what the software is called or have a link to it?

cheers
