I am trying to remove noise from a mp3 file. I followed the steps at

http://www.wavosaur.com/tutorials/how-to-remove-noise.php

The noise is removed perfectly when i play the file in wavosaur. But when I either save the file or export to mp3, in the newly saved file, noise is not removed at all. It is still same as original. Do i need to close wavosaur before I play the file in other programs? I just don't know what I am doing wrong.

Please help.

thanks,
asimo.

Hello,

Make sure you don't forget to use "apply" on the file before saving.
If there is still noise it can be a bug, does this happens too if you save as .wav ?

Hi Rex,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did click Apply before saving. Also, I tried saving both to wav and mp3, but no luck.

Is there any way to attach a clip of before and after so that you can see. Also, I cam try to record the sound from the speaker when playing through wavosaur, so that you can see the difference between the sound from wavosaur and the saved file.

thanks,
asimo.
