What Sound Effect is this?(Cradle of Filth-I am the Thorn)?
they have this effect used a few times through the song, first starting at 1:39.
you can listen to the whole song by clicking the link, only listen until 1:39-45 so u realize what kind of effect im talking about.

its like a crystal effect where there like talking threw glass, its wierd. 
whats the sound effect called?crystalization? im looking to know the name of the effect so i can download a VST plug-in for it to use in audacity or some of my other music programs.

It sounds like a vocoder (maybe vocoder + dry signal)
or maybe a ring modulation like effect on the voice |
