I see there is no support for ACM. What about that? I mean all that WAVs compressed using codecs that can be installed to OS.
Just for example: http://entrase.cjcity.ru/haha.wav
It says "Unable to load file". |

You can rename the file to .mp3 and it will load fine in Wavosaur.
anything can be embedded in a .wav file, and sometimes, it's not really a good idea |

I think that renaming for loading is some kind of stupidity. This is a bad design. WAV format isn't limited to just PCM. If you're not going to fix it then you should notice user that the program support only uncompressed wavs. Now there are problems with terminology.
Must be like that:
Uncompressed PCM WAV (*.wav)
AIFF (*.aiff)
...
The current set of strings lacks unity of style. Some are the samples. Some are the sounds. Some are files. Some are just OGGs, Wavpacks etc.
Please fix =) |

We'll maybe have a look at that.
That kind of thing is not really top priority. |
