If you left the box unchecked the bitdepth change will be effective only when saving the file, if you check it the file is processed!

if it's processed,does that change the original file?or only when you then save?
i presume it processes it,but doesn't affect the original until save.

The file is changed when processed, the changes can be heard/seen if you lower the bitrate.

i don't think i explained myself very well,i was actually concerned that by 'processing' the file gets changed even without saving,so now i realise that unless you 'save' then the processing is not applied.which is cool.

i love wavosaur,it is truly a gift from the gods! Very Happy

Yes you can do what you want within Wavosaur, the files won't be hurted until you hit "save" Mr. Green
