|
|
Hi,
Is there a way a user can change the options included on the Right Click drop down menu? I would like to either remove or relocate the CUT option.
Explanation: I really like the VOLUME adjustment on that menu and use it all the time, however I find that when I have a wave section highlighted, I sometimes accidently click the right click in such a way as to cause the CUT option to be invoked. The cut section can easily be replaced using CTRL/Z, but it could happen that at some point I might not notice the section has been removed. destroying the song. Possibly if the CUT option were to be located lower on the list this wouldn't happen, due to the fact the cursor normally rests at the top of the list. I don't use the CUT option in that menu anyway so I would prefer it to be removed completely if that is a user option. Better yet switch places with CUT and VOLUME. Is this a user option?
Thanks,
David |

Hello, welcome to the forum
For the moment the user can't change the way the options are displayed in the drop down menu.
But i don't get it all : the problem is that sometimes you accidentally click the first option in the menu ? is this becasue of a double right click or it happens this way -> right click then left click on first item.
or is the problem having the MUTE next to the VOLUME item ? |

Hi Rex,
Thanks for your speedy reply. I believe what I am doing is this: After I highlight a section for which I wish to change the volume, I move the cursor to the right to a blank section of screen. As I get to this position I am pressing the right click button while the mouse is still moving. As the menu appears the cursor is on the menu at the top and moves to CUT because the mouse is still moving, and if I have a long right click key press the CUT is activated also.
You don't have to say it, I will, DUMB! It's an "In a hurry" type of thing, and should be an easy habit to break. Of course this is definitly not a program fault.
Thanks again,
David |
